State Fundraising Manager

Reports to Fundraising Director


Required Knowledge and Skills:


  • Exceptional skill levels on Microsoft Office, various forms of social media, Google Plus, Google Drive and Excel.
  • Basic Accounting skills.
  • Outstanding Communication Skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate all of OAI's philosophical positions on relevant political issues.
  • Demonstrated Leadership and Team Building Skills that can be utilized within the OAI Organization, potential donors and other affinity organizations.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage and create public awareness and participation on the State Fundly page.
  • Establish and achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly goals via various fundraising methods with the guidance and direction of the Regional Director.
  • Directly oversee all State Fundraising Activities.
  • Recruit and enlist a team of 12 or more fundraising volunteers strategically located throughout the state to assist at fundraising events and to solicit local donors.
  • Solicit donations from individuals wherever appropriate and whenever opportunities arise.
  • Setup Fundraising Events and coordinate all activities.
  • Establish mechanisms to guarantee donations are made prior to scheduled events.
  • Ensure that all event generated OAI contributions are collected and forwarded to Campaign Headquarters within 1-2 days following an event.
  • Keep accurate records of all donations and costs for each event.
  • Participate in and invite potential large donors to attend a Monthly "Everest" Call with Gary Johnson.
  • Advise and secure approval of any public or press release prior to an event from the National Communication Director.
  • Participate in scheduled (TBD) conference calls with the Regional Director.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Regional Director.
  • Set and meet yearly and quarterly fundraising goals.
  • Approves all public responses with National Communications Director prior to release.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Regional Fundraising Director.
